Is okVibe an emergency service?
No. okVibe is not an emergency service, medical alert system, or substitute for professional care. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately (e.g. 112, 999, or 911).
How do I add trusted contacts?
1. Open okVibe 2. Open Contacts in the bottom navigation 3. Tap the + button 4. Enter the details and save
How does the check-in work?
Tap the "OK" button once a day. If you miss two days in a row, your trusted contacts can be notified on the third day—according to how you set things up in the app.
How do I trigger an SOS alert?
Tap and hold the red SOS button on the home screen, or use shake-to-alert if you turned it on in settings.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes. Cancel anytime in your phone's store subscription settings (the same store where you installed okVibe).
How do I delete my account?
In the app: open Settings, scroll down, and tap Delete account. You can also request deletion by email or read the Privacy Policy for details.
Is my location data private?
Your location is only used when the app needs it for safety features you turn on (for example during an SOS flow). For how we handle data, read our Privacy Policy.
Technical issues
If something isn't working:
- Update to the latest app version
- Check your internet connection
- Force-close the app and open it again
